Our Mission Statement and Philosophy

We base this venture, as we have done with our lives, upon the unchanging truth of God's Word as found in the Bible. We believe that man was created in God's image to be loved and to experience fellowship with Him. We also believe that God created the horse, along with the rest of His magnificent creation, to reveal truth, bring healing and often draw us closer to Himself.  "Hast thou given the horse strength? Hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?...He mocketh at fear, and is not afrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword." Based upon this foundation, we seek to serve others with the same grace, love and honor that we have experienced.  While we certainly do not have a "corner on truth", we are excited and privileged to engage in this journey with others, continually seeking and learning.

In former days, horses carried us into battle, explored new frontiers, plowed our fields and took us wherever we desired to go.  Now that modern inventions have mostly removed the horse from our urban lifestyles, it is not surprising that horses are now serving man in other capacities: therapeutic riding & hippotherapy; equine-assisted psychotherapy; equine-facilitated learning and just plain pleasure and companionship. It is our hope and vision that through this venture others experience hope, peace, renewed joy and empowering breakthroughs both in relationships and in personal growth.
